Recent Buys #1 | Home Decor

I have very recently bought a few items for our home, just to give it a little update ready for Spring, so I thought I would share them with you all. I personally like reading this kind of post myself for inspiration and I managed to pick up some bargains too! I've also included a couple of bits I bought last weekend for Sophie, which you may have seen already if you follow us on Instagram.

JOHN LEWIS
I firstly ordered two cushions - the ampersand one and yellow stripe. I actually included them in a recent post 'Spring Home Picks' but I thought they went really well together and the yellow one just adds a pop of colour. I really liked this lampshade too. Our décor is very neutral, so I thought it would fit in nicely and would look lovely in our hallway. I'm loving the colour grey at the moment and I love the geometric print.

THE WHITE COMPANY
A couple of weeks ago, I was browsing the sale when I came across the heart notebook, although mine is A5 size and was only £4.50! I also wanted some nice pencils and fell in love with the set of ten sentiment pencils. I obviously needed somewhere to display them too, so ordered the white lacquer pot

JELLYCAT
Toby and I visited Cedar Farm last weekend, where we had a hot chocolate and coffee and then had a wander around to take a look in the gift shop. They sell some gorgeous items and of course, I had to have a look at the Jellycat section! I fell in love with this Bashful Unicorn and I just couldn't leave it behind! I also picked up a different book for Easter, but it didn't have a price on so when the lady serving us went to check, she brought the If I were a unicorn... book over as that one did have the price. Of course I wanted that one too, so it was kind of an accidental purchase! Although Sophie hasn't been well this week, so it was a little treat for her (that's my excuse anyway haha).

  1. Lots of great purchases. I love the combination of yellow and grey together, it looks so fresh and bright. I adore the white company but more often than not can't afford anything unless it's in the sale lol. Love those pencils x
