We were asked to select five meals out of the eleven listed, so I decided on pasta bolognese, cottage pie, spaghetti & meatballs, chicken & veg risotto and mild chicken curry. I have to say I love the packaging and the traditional look of it. The cooking instructions are simple & easy to follow and I think it’s very useful that all of the meals can be cooked in the microwave or oven. They are the perfect portion size for toddlers and are also an ideal option for busy Mums – as they are healthy and convenient meals.
If you want to get your hands on the Little Dish meals, you can find the new range at all major supermarkets, including Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Ocado, Morrisons, Sainsurys, Co-op and Booths. They have an RRP of £2.30 and are suitable for children aged between 1 and 3 years.

These look fab! We are a bit fan of Little Dish already as quite often Bella eats before Josh is even home from work. Her favourite is fish pie but i think she would love all of the ones you mentioned above too! xxx

I don't think there's ever been a time when i haven't had Little Dish meals in the fridge. Though i try to cook fresh and homemade as often as possible, sometimes you just need the convenience of a microwave meal and they don't come much better than Little Dish. xx
sophieellaandme says
I completely agree! They're so handy to have, I'll be stocking up next time I go shopping 🙂 xx

There's a stigma around ready meals, especially those for kids, but I have to say, we tried Abbie with some when she was about 2 years old and she loved them! They were perfect on those stressful days when you had no more energy or time to cook something from scratch, knowing they were made with as much local products are possible and no nasties, you can easily reach for it! We've not tried most of the new range but it looks like they have gone down well with your little one! x

I agree! I would recommend trying the new range, yep Sophie was a big fan haha! x

We're a big fan of Little Dish ready meals in our house. Unfortunately, it's not always practical for us to all eat as a family in the evenings and these make life a lot simpler. We had been buying the smaller Little Dish meals but my daughter was often still hungry after I think these size portions will be more suited to here. Will be keeping an eye open in the supermarket for them. 🙂

Oooo we've not tried Little Dish before Im pretty sure its because they don't have a free from gluten & milk range (but don't quote me on that lol) I will have to double check – I know Hayden would love these meals.
Thanks for sharing hun, need to have a proper look into them

I liked to make my own food for the kids when they were younger but there are always times when you don't have time or you're out and about so I always had a stock of these meals in and they were a lifesaver on more than one occasion x x
sophieellaandme says
Yeah, I agree! Cooking from scratch is pretty time consuming but these are so handy when you don't have much time x

I need to try out things like this, especially now that I'm on maternity leave and Little I isn't in nursery full time. I've got more nights a week where I need to feed her dinner and these look like they'd make life a bit easier once the new baba is here!x
sophieellaandme says
Yeah they're definitely worth a try and it saves trying to juggle cooking with a newborn and toddler! x
Janine says
They look good and I've seen them in the shop but I didn't buy them because they only had fish pie and meatballs
sophieellaandme says
Oh that's a shame they didnt have much choice, I think I might get the fish pie next time for Sophie to try x
