Instagram | January 2016

To be honest, January has been a bit of a strange month for me. Once Christmas had been and gone, I didn't really know what to do with myself. I think I'm still suffering with the January blues and this horrible weather certainly hasn't helped lift my mood. But, at the end of every month, I like to do a roundup of my favourite photos which I've shared over on Instagram. So here they are..

My Monochrome Favourites

The monochrome trend is really popular at the moment and I personally really like it. Our house d├ęcor is pretty neutral anyway, so black and white fits in well and I've already added a few little monochrome touches to our home. I've been browsing This Modern Life quite a lot recently and thought I would share my favourite picks with you.

Next Spring 2016 Toddler Girls Wishlist

Now that the Christmas sales have ended and the shops are getting their Spring/Summer ranges in, I thought I would share my favourite items from Next, which would be perfect for my two year old daughter.

The Start Of A New Slimming World Journey

As you can probably guess by the title of this post, I have joined Slimming World. In fact, I've been a member for two years (on and off) but I rejoined at the end of last year. This was mainly to keep me on track and more mindful of what I eat over Christmas (as it's easy to get carried away over the festive period, isn't it?!).

5 Baby Products You Don't Really Need

When you're buying items for your baby - whether you're a first-time mum or if you already have children, it can be quite daunting knowing what items to buy and which of those are actually essential. I have put together a list of 5 items which I personally think you don't need for a baby.

Next Sale Toddler Haul #3

I absolutely love Next, especially their children's clothing. There always seems to be something I like and from my experience, everything seems to wash well and last for ages too - which I think is pretty essential when buying clothes for children.

My Goals For 2016

I've been thinking a lot recently about what I want to achieve this year. I do usually try and make at least one New Years Resolution - but I don't really stick to them. Instead, I think I will set myself some goals (both personal ones and for my blog) which hopefully I can aim towards throughout the year. So here it goes..

2015 - A Year In Review

Now that we're in 2016, I thought I would look back at the previous year and share my highlights. To be honest, it feels like last year flew by and we didn't really do much - but when I sat down and thought about it, we did have quite a busy year!

Happy New Year!

Just a quick post to say Happy New Year and wishing you all health and happiness in 2016!
