Sophie's Moana Themed Birthday Party

We recently celebrated Sophie's fifth birthday and a couple of weeks ago, we hosted a party for her in our local community centre. Sophie decided on a Moana theme, so I thought I would share some of the decorative items I picked up for it.

As I mentioned previously, we hired our local community centre for a couple of hours and invited around 20 children, including some of Sophie's friends from school. This was plenty of time to play a couple of games and for the children to eat.

I didn't go too overboard with the party food and there wasn't much left either! There were sandwiches (jam, ham & cheese), mini breadsticks, crisps, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, oreos, party rings & Cadbury animal biscuits, ritz crackers and carrot & cucumber sticks.

Here's the hawaiian themed chocolate cake which we ordered from our local cake shop, like previous years. It was just as delicious as last year's unicorn cake!

Everyone seemed to love the party favours too, although I forgot to take a photo! I had ordered a variety of 20 books from The Works in their 10 books for £1 deal. The children loved choosing a new book to take home with them.

I'm really pleased with how the party went and I'm sure it won't be long until I'm planning the next one!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post! Have you hosted a kids party this year?
