A Walk In Astley Park

It was a beautiful day yesterday and the perfect weather for a walk in one of our local parks. We've been stuck in the house a lot recently because of the weather, but the sun was shining and we couldn't wait to get some fresh air!

We went to Astley Park as it's only a short drive from where we live. I've mentioned it previously on the blog before as it's definitely one of our favourite parks to visit, which is conveniently just on our doorstep. There's quite a lot to do there, including a look around Astley Hall, a huge children's play area and a number of different walks too.

I love the water feature and Sophie loved watching the ducks and swans on the water. We then went exploring with my Mum and her dog, where Sophie climbed up a little hill and said "I'm the King of the Castle" haha! It's just one of her favourite sayings at the moment!

I hope you enjoyed this post! You can take a look at our other trips to Astley Park here and here.

  1. I love grand estates like this that you can walk around. I find them perfect for days out and exploring with a toddler. x
