15 Books To Prepare Your Child For A New Sibling

If you're currently expecting and you're looking for ways to prepare your older child for a new sibling - then look no further! I have put together a list of 15 books which may help them understand what's happening and prepare them for the new addition to the family.

We have picked up a few of the books listed below, to read to our (almost) four year old over the coming months - to help prepare her for when she becomes a big sister at the end of the year!

Which books are your favourites? Did you read books with your older child to help prepare them for a new baby?

  1. Aw, we had a few of these. There's A House Inside My Mummy was a real favourite with us, we read it so much during my second and third pregnancies, I still know it off by heart. x

  3. We bought "I'm a big brother," for our toddler before our second son was born. He stills like having that story read now and the baby is 3 months old. Great list!
