I love the idea of charcuterie boards; they’re such a fun way to serve lots of yummy food and I’ve noticed they’re becoming increasingly popular! So I thought I would put together my own Easter themed charcuterie board, with lots of sweet treats – as it wouldn’t be Easter without a load of chocolate… would it?
Although the traditional charcuterie board includes a variety of meats and/or cheeses, you can include literally whatever you want! For example, you could serve one for breakfast with pancakes, waffles, dipping chocolate, maple syrup, strawberries, banana etc. For a lunchtime charcuterie board, you could include; fruit of your choice, such as grapes, a selection of ham, cheese, crackers, dips and french bread. Or you could serve a sweet one for dessert like I did and include a variety of sweets and chocolate. The possibilities are literally endless!

In my Easter charcuterie board I’ve included; macarons, Flipz pretzels, Smarties eggs and Milkybar eggs. I also added half a small Easter egg, filled with lots of Cadbury mini eggs, Lindt white chocolate bunny, a Cadbury creme egg, pastel coloured marshmallows and Fox’s party rings biscuits. I also managed to find all of these items in my local supermarket – which is a bonus too!

As you can see, I stuck with pastel coloured food to go with the Easter theme; so there are lots of yellows, pinks, purples and white here. I thought using a bunny cookie cutter would be a fun way to serve the marshmallows! I think next year I will also add these delicious mini egg NYC cookies from Jane’s Patisserie to my board too!

I’d love to know what you think! Will you be creating an Easter themed charcuterie board this year?
