I finally finished the girl’s Christmas Eve Basket today and couldn’t wait to share it with you! I remember coming across the idea of a Christmas Eve Basket around five years ago now on Pinterest. I thought it was a lovely idea and such a great family tradition to start – so have done them ever since.

Here’s a little look at what’s inside the basket, although I will share a closer look at the contents in this post. As always, I will link all the items mentioned at the end of this post too.
I have added their personalised Christmas tree name tags again this year, purchased from Fox & Weave.
I like to include some treats, so this year they’ve got Percy Pig sweets, white chocolate coins and Milkybar buttons. They’ve also got a pair of fluffy penguin socks each, which I ordered from Next.
I was super organised last year and managed to order the girl’s Christmas pyjamas in The White Company sale – ready for this year, although they’re selling the same ones again which I’ll link below. I’ve added two Snowy Penguin soft toys, which we already had – mainly to keep costs down, as it can get expensive!
I thought this book would be a lovely addition and the illustrations are beautiful too.
Finally, I purchased this fabric envelope for Sophie to put her letter to Father Christmas in, ready to leave out for him on Christmas Eve.
