I think having a child is by far one of the most amazing things to happen in life, but the days seem to go so quickly, which is why I wanted some nice photos of the girls together. I wanted to remember these days and the little details when they’re so tiny and new – which I’ve found can be quickly forgotten in the newborn haze. I guess that’s the reason I started this blog, so I could document this journey with you all and I have somewhere to share these precious memories.
So when Amelia had turned two weeks old, we went to a photoshoot with our favourite photographer Heather Capture. You can see our previous photoshoots with her here, here and here. I’m so pleased with them all and I can’t wait to frame some of my favourites.
I can’t even remember Amelia being this tiny and Sophie looks so grown up here. I think you can tell just by looking at these photos just how much she adores her baby sister. She was (and still is) besotted with her and I will treasure these photos of my girls forever.

Aww how cute. Never did a newborn photo shoot with my two but did have a family one when my daughter was one. It was an actual nightmare! Not doing it again in a hurry lol.

Oh my goodness! Rory had a photo shoot but it wasn’t great and I left so annoyed. O haven’t even thought about one for the girl I’m due with at the moment! You’ve made me want to start looking though. Absolutely gorgeous photos!
