Following on from Sophie’s Birthday: Part 1 yesterday, today was the day of Sophie’s party. We decided to have the party on the Sunday rather than her actual birthday so we could make it a weekend of celebrating instead of trying to cram everything into one day as it would just be too much.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side as it was raining but there’s not a lot you can do about the weather, so we had to make do. Luckily, my parents have a conservatory, so most of the time Sophie and her little friends played in there.. It’s always nice when they’re all together!
We mainly spent the day catching up with everyone, eating a ridiculous amount of party food, opening presents and playing pass the parcel. We’ve all had a wonderful day and if any of you are reading this; thank you so much for making Sophie’s day so special. She’s a very lucky little girl and received so many lovely cards and gifts! Also, thanks to my Mum for taking the photos!
That’s it for another year and I can’t believe we now have a two year old haha!
