15 Week Pregnancy Update - Baby #2

The weeks seem to be going much quicker recently, which is good as I'm so excited for our gender scan next week! Here's how I've been feeling this week...

DUE DATE
31st October 2017

BABY DEVELOPMENT
This week baby is around the size of an apple, is around 3.98 inches in length and weighs around 2.5 ounces. It is able to rub its eyes, yawn and blink. The baby's eyelashes and eyebrows are growing too.

GENDER
We find out next week, eek!

MOOD
We had a busy few days in Northumberland and it definitely caught up with me. I was so tired and went to bed at 9pm on our last night there, which isn't like me at all. We usually stay up a lot later than that, but I was just exhausted!

SYMPTOMS
At the beginning of the week, I had a couple of good days (where I wasn't sick) but the sickness came back and I'm sick at least once most days (unless I'm having a good day - which is rare!). I've had a few headaches and I'm still feeling quite rough, I'm just trying to take it easy and hope it passes soon. My skin is still awful & covered in spots and I can't remember the last time I wore make-up either. My stomach has started to go really hard too, so I'm pretty sure a bump will appear soon!

SLEEP
We slept in a caravan for a few days, so I didn't sleep that well to be honest as I kept waking up. However once we got home, I've been sleeping well again, apart from waking up to go to the toilet a couple of times.

MOVEMENT
I still haven't felt any movement yet, but I didn't feel flutters with Sophie until I was around 19 weeks pregnant.

FOOD CRAVINGS OR AVERSIONS
I've been loving Fanta this week. And I'm not sure if I'm having food aversions, but my appetite just isn't what it used to be before I got pregnant.

HIGHLIGHT OF THIS WEEK
We have been discussing baby names and I think we've decided on a girls name!

LOOKING FORWARD TO
I can't wait for the scan next week and to finally clear out the spare room and make a start on baby's nursery!
