It was my 21st
Birthday earlier this week (Tuesday 17th February) so I thought I would let you know what we’ve been up to this week.

Toby managed to get the day off work so we
just spent the day as a family which was nice. We went to Cedar Farm which has
a gallery with loads of small businesses; craft shops, dressmakers, photography
studio etc. They have a coffee shop which we regularly visit and a couple of
other shops too (which is where I end up buying Sophie a ridiculous amount of
Jellycat toys!)

The weather was lovely, it
was quite cold but the sun was shining which makes a change so I’m certainly
not complaining! We stopped off for a cold drink and I shared a chocolate
muffin with Sophie and we then went to look at the animals outside. They have
chickens, goats and sheep which you can pet and feed but Sophie was quite grumpy so we
decided to leave after a quick wander round.

We stopped off at Toby’s
parents’ house on the way home to see his mum, Sophie was running around for
ages and tired herself out. She came to me for a cuddle and ended up falling
asleep on me. She looked so cute! I loved it as she hadn’t fallen asleep on me
like that since she was about 9 months old. After an hour or so once she’d
woken up we set off to my parents’ house where we were staying for tea. Sophie
had some lunch and we just chilled there. My sister and her partner came round
too and we had a nice family meal together.

On Saturday evening, we went
for a really big family meal at The Warehouse in Southport as it’s also Toby’s
21st Birthday (on Monday). There’s only 6 days between us! So we had
a joint celebration with both families which was lovely and we both received
some lovely cards and gifts from family and friends which we’re very grateful for.
