Toddler Bedroom

I thought I
would write a post on what Sophie’s bedroom looks like as I love reading similar posts for inspiration. This is now actually Sophie’s old bedroom, as we have since moved house, but you can see a tour of her new toddler bedroom here.

Theme
I went for
the Mothercare Little Lane theme, as it’s just so pretty and
perfect for a little girl. The curtains, lampshade, bedding, wall stickers and
rug are all part of the range which has now sadly been discontinued.

Cotbed

We chose the Tuscany 3-in-1 from Babies R Us as it converts to a toddler bed,
so it should last quite a few years. The cushions are both from The Little White Company; the one on the left was £6 in their last sale and is no longer available but you can find a similar one here. The sheepskin heart cushion looks beautiful in her room, you can find this here.

Storage Bag
The light pink gingham storage tub is also from The Little White Company and holds all of her soft toys. She has so many Jellycat toys, they’re just so cute and soft! You can find a similar storage bag here.

Unit
This is from Ikea which is part of the Kallax series. The drawers and baskets are also
from Ikea and I think they look great and store quite a lot including clothes
and toys. The room is pretty small so we needed a good storage solution.

Windowsill
These bunny night lights glow pink and look really cute in her bedroom and the lovely jewellery box is the perfect size to hold all of her hair accessories.

Print & Frame
The print on the left was a gift when Sophie was born last year. I love it and the colours fit in nicely with her room too. The frame on the right I bought from a baby store a couple of years ago.

Name Letters
I wanted to
get some name letters for a while so I ordered them from a page on Facebook called The Lovely Letter Company. They are absolutely beautiful and match the
room perfectly.

Bunting
I recently ordered the matching bunting. It hangs above Sophie’s bed and I think it really finishes the room off.

Bookshelf
Behind the door are two Ribba picture ledges from Ikea which hold her books as she loves reading.

What do you
think? I would love to see your little ones bedrooms.

*This post was originally published on 02/01/15 but I have since updated the pictures using my camera (instead of my iPhone) as they are better quality.

LOVE her bedroom. I love the colours white and pink, so girly.
I am mixed in what theme to do my girls' bedrooms! I keep changing my mind all the time!

Thankyou! I think it's a bit too pink now haha. When we move house I think I will paint the walls more of a neutral colour xx

Such a cute room! Everything goes together so nicely. You've done so well. I need to sort out Osian's bedroom, but I can't paint so stuck with magnolia for the walls. Xx

Thankyou :). I thought the fabric on the letters match the bedding perfectly! And oh right; we're renting at the moment so we have to paint it back to magnolia before we move out. You could still add a bit of colour though (letters, bedding, storage basket etc) so it's not as plain 🙂 xx

It looks so lovely. Love the pink and white together. So cute! I have a 7 yr old and a 1 yr old girls sharing a room and it's taking me forever to sort out all the toys. Seeing these pretty pics makes me want to go and take all the stuff to the tip! xx

I didn't realise how much stuff you seem to accumulate when you have children! I'm constantly de-cluttering Sophie's stuff haha. Thankyou 🙂 xx
