Sophie’s Christmas Eve Basket 2015

With Christmas less than six weeks away, I thought I would share what’s in Sophie’s Christmas Eve Basket. I came across the idea last year and thought it would make a lovely family tradition. Sophie really enjoyed going through it and I can’t wait to give her this one on Christmas Eve! Since I’ve had a bit more time to think about it and Sophie is obviously a bit older this year, there are a few more items which I could include. I hope this gives you some ideas!

 Pyjamas, Polar bear soft toy

The Night Before Christmas book, Snowman and The Snowdog DVD, Frozen colouring book

Santa’s plate & milk bottle, Matalan

 Socks, wand, LED reindeer

Chocolate coins, lollipop and chocolate snowdog, festive biscuits, Santa’s magic key

Are you doing a Christmas Eve Basket this year?

Oooh you've given me a few ideas for our little boys Christmas Eve box. We've already got some pyjamas, The Night Before Christmas book and a plate to put treats on for Santa and Rudolph. Love the LED reindeer and the Santa key. It's the first Christmas Eve box we're putting together as Rowan was only 5 months old last year! Thanks for sharing and I'm sure your little girl will love it 💕 x

I love everything you have put together here! I will be fixing one up for my daughter and can't wait to watch her open it. I'm still searching for ideas though because she doesn't eat candy and doesn't like watching tv, so movies are out. Haha, who knew it would be difficult to get kids to watch tv and eat a little chocolate? She's only 19 months old so I'm sure she'll get the hang of it soon. Do you think it's too boring if I put a new toothbrush in there? She absolutely loves brushing her teeth and her current t one is a bit worn out. Thanks for the other great ideas though, pjs are a must!

Thank you Danielle! 🙂 I think it's a lovely tradition and I love putting it together! No not at all 🙂 if it's something you know she will like, then go for it! Instead of a DVD you could put a few books and colouring book or something 🙂 xx

I think this is a great idea, we started doing it a couple of years ago. So far I've got christmas PJ's, new dressing gowns and then a christmas book and DVD we can share as a family on Christmas eve. #love2blog

Oh what great picks. I love the milk bottle. I got a place mat for Matthew and chloe to use on Christmas Eve. We don't so Xmas baskets to be honest. But I'm planning to to introduce st. Nicholas to Matthew on 6th December. It's a German tradition.

Love this!!! I do Amelia a similar thing but give it to her at the beginning of december as like a Christmas countdown box! The pjs are so cute. I love the snowman and the snowdog chocolate I've got Amelia some for her stocking! I need to get to Matalan and check out the plate and milk bottle, love love them! xx

Ahhh this is lovely!! 🙂 I did a Christmas eve box last year for Tyne and he absolutely loved it! This year I've decided to do a family box instead of giving him and Noah one each (Coz theyre gonna be a bit overwhelmed with presents the next day!), so it will include all of our new xmas eve pjs, a film to watch, some xmas books to read, a Santa key, reindeer food, some chocolate treats and "Snowman Soup"! xx

We do this as well its great fun. My husband is Danish so they open their presents on the 24th. We wanted to stick to opening presents Christmas day with our kids, so a Christmas Eve box is the perfect compromise!
