Sophie’s Christmas Gifts 2015: Stocking Fillers & Main Presents

With just three weeks to go, I thought I would do a haul of the gifts we’ve bought Sophie this year. I’m pretty excited as it will be our first Christmas in our new home. Sophie will also be 2 and a half and I think she will understand what’s going on a bit more than previous years, which is so exciting!

I like to be organised, especially when it comes to Christmas as there’s so many people to buy for and I like to spread the cost (it also means I can start shopping even earlier haha!). But I have to admit, I struggled deciding what to buy for her this year. She has quite a lot already, but I’m really pleased with the items we’ve got her and I’m sure she will love them!

So to start, here are Sophie’s stocking fillers…

Pyjamas
As Sophie is mainly in 3-4 years clothes now, she needed some pyjamas in this size so it made sense to buy her a pack for her Christmas stocking. I absolutely love the ballerina prints on this set of three from Next.

Toothbrush
I bought this from the Disney Store a while back and thought it would make an inexpensive stocking filler. Sophie loves Minnie Mouse and brushing her teeth, so I’m sure she will love it!

Puzzles
These are both age 3+ so she probably won’t be able to do them on her own, but it’s a little activity we can do together.

Slippers
I bought these little bunny slippers in the Next sale last year and they’re the perfect size for her now, although I’m not sure she will keep them on!

Socks
Not really that exciting, but they’re an essential item and an inexpensive stocking filler and I love these ones from Next.

Cinderella DVD
We love watching films together and I really wanted to add the new Cinderella DVD to her collection.

Jellycat bunny
We absolutely love Jellycat and Sophie has quite a few of their soft toys already. I know she will love this little bunny!

Bunny ‘hottie’
This is perfect for the colder months as you just put the in the microwave. This will definitely keep Sophie nice and warm. You can buy a similar one here.

Chocolate
You can’t really have a stocking without chocolate can you?! Milkybar buttons are Sophie’s favourite!

Her main presents are pictured below…

Play kitchen
I’ve wanted to get her a play kitchen for a while, but we decided to wait until Christmas or we wouldn’t know what else to buy her! We decided on this one from Ikea. She’s at that age where she’s really started to develop her own imagination and this will be great for role play. I know she will love this and I can’t wait to see her face when she sees it on Christmas morning!

Dolls pram
I fell in love with this beautiful wooden pram from The Little White Company. We bought Sophie a different one for her birthday and she loved it but it broke a month or so later! She was so disappointed, so I decided on this one as it’s wooden and really well made, so should last a lot longer.

Wooden toaster and pans
These wooden pots and pans and wooden toaster from John Lewis go perfectly with her wooden kitchen.

Frozen Elsa styling head
Recently, Sophie has become obsessed with Frozen and she loves Elsa so I’m sure this will love playing with this Elsa styling head.

Frozen scooter
I think Sophie will love this Frozen scooter and it will be easier for her to use as it has three wheels.

Clothes

Children always need clothes, so I thought I may as well buy her a few items that she needs and just wrap them up! Sophie loves Minnie Mouse, so I just had to buy her this t-shirt and jumper when I saw them and ballerina top is adorable and I couldn’t leave it behind haha!

Converse
I ordered her some new shoes too as she’s outgrowing them so quickly and this white pair of converse will go with pretty much everything. I bought them in the next size up so hopefully she will get a bit more wear out of them!

What have you bought your children for Christmas this year?

What a lucky girl! 🙂 Such lovely gifts you've got for her this year. I know what you mean about finding it hard when they have quite a lot already. I'd love to get my daughter one of the Ikea kitchens but we just don't have any room in our house for one. 🙁

They are all beautiful and love how they kitchen, the pram and the utensils match visually. Emma is getting clothes and a couple of dollies, plus Lego. We try not to make a big fuss over Christmas but we always end up buying too much for her!xx

I love converse. Most comfortable shoes in the whole world. Matthew mainly got games this year's but I also got him some new clothes and was thinking of buying him a pair of converse like mummy's ones.
