My little girl turns 3 years old in less than six weeks and I’m not sure why, but I’ve really struggled knowing what to get for her birthday this year. This is why I decided to put together a few gift ideas, which may help if you’re also unsure what to buy for a three year old. Sophie already owns some of the items above, which are her favourite and most played with toys, so I thought they’d also make the perfect gift if you have a third birthday to buy for.
To be honest, I’ve been looking for gifts for months and I’ve browsed so many websites, but I don’t want to buy a load of toys etc. just for the sake of it. Money is also a lot tighter now, as Sophie has recently started nursery, so we’ve decided we’re not getting her much this year. Although, she has asked for a slide, which will be perfect for the Summer months. She’s also getting a lovely wooden dolls house which my mum got for a bargain in the sales!
Baby Annabell Doll
I’m sure I’ve mentioned this doll previously, but Sophie loves playing with her Baby Annabell. The doll is interactive and moves her eyes, mouth & makes sounds too and she is certainly well loved in our household.
I’ve purchased this for Sophie’s birthday and I love that it’s personalised, as well as the hand-drawn illustrations. Every book is different as each adventure is based on your child’s name.
Wooden Mini Crib
I’ve also purchased this beautiful dolls crib as a main present. I’m sure Sophie will love using this for roleplay, like putting her Baby Annabell to bed.
This was Sophie’s main Christmas present last year, which is from Ikea. It’s a great price too, compared to other kitchens and it’s played with on a daily basis. I would definitely recommend purchasing a play kitchen for your little one, if you haven’t already.
We’re huge fans of Jellycat, in fact we have been since Sophie was a baby and I love adding to her collection! There are just so many to choose from and she loves playing with them.
White Childrens Teepee
I think this is lovely and I’d definitely purchase one if we had the space. I think it would be perfect in a reading corner, for Sophie to read her books.
