Sophie’s Christmas Gifts 2016: Main Presents

Today I wanted to share the main gifts we have bought Sophie for Christmas this year, as she will have just turned three and a half by then and I personally enjoy reading this type of post for inspiration.

We haven’t bought Sophie some new toys for a while now and as she’s getting older, we have noticed she is really into imaginative play and especially loves making us food and drink in her play kitchen, which we got her for Christmas last year. So we decided to go for items that encourages role play and develops her imagination. I’ve also written a post on the stocking fillers we’ve bought her if you want to read that too.

So here are the main gifts we have bought for her this year…

Doctors Play Set – Sophie loves all things imaginative play, so I thought she would love this doctors set which I picked up from Tesco.

Kindle Fire Kids Tablet – After watching YouTube Kids on my phone, we decided to get her her very own tablet to watch it on, as well as being able to download games and shows for her.

Joules Guinea Pig Lunchbox – This seemed perfect for days out and it comes with a sandwich box too, which I’m sure will be useful.

Joules Cat Backpack – I fell in love with this backpack and just had to order it. I’m so excited for Sophie to start using it, along with the matching lunchbox.

Sofia The First Figures – We went to the Smyths Toys sale in September and Sophie chose these figures herself, as she is currently obsessed with Sofia the First!

Joules Wellies – I bought these in the next size up, as she is bound to need a new pair for jumping in puddles!

Yoyo Panda – This is a bit more than I would usually pay for a toy, but it’s so cute and I couldn’t resist. I think Sophie will really enjoy playing with it.

Cash Register – Following on from the imaginative play, I thought she would love playing shops and this one is comes with quite a few accessories too.

Num Noms Lipstick Truck – I thought this looked really fun and I’m sure she will enjoy making her own lipstick (with my help of course!).

So what gifts have you bought for your children for Christmas this year?
