Nordgreen Watches Review | AD

Disclosure – this is a paid partnership with Nordgreen. I received the watch featured for the purpose of this post, however all words and photos are my own.

I recently came across Nordgreen, who are a Scandinavian brand, creating minimalist watches for both men and women. Their stunning, timeless designs mean there is something to suit everyone.

Since they were founded in 2017, giving back has always been at the forefront of the company and they have a number of sustainable initiatives, including carbon neutral, sustainable packaging, their giving back programme and responsible manufacturing – which I will go into in more detail later in this post.

The lovely people at Nordgreen have also very kindly provided a discount code for 15% off, use code ‘ANDME‘.

I chose the Philosopher style watch, which has a 36mm size face and a white leather strap. I think it is such a beautiful, yet classic timepiece and I know I will use it for years to come. It is very comfortable to wear and so versatile too, it will work well with any outfit.

There are several watch styles to choose from for men and women, as well as leather straps, mesh straps and vegan options too. The straps are also easily interchangeable, so you can customise your watch to suit your style, without having to purchase a whole new watch. All items arrive in this beautiful, sustainable packaging too – making them the perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.

When reading about Nordgreen, I was very pleased to hear about their sustainable initiatives, as previously mentioned in this post and what steps they take to give back to the community.

Firstly, is carbon neutral – they have planted thousands of trees to offset their carbon emissions generated by their office in Copenhagen and global orders.

Secondly, is sustainable packaging – all of their packaging is FSC certified. The cardboard in their packaging comes from responsibly managed forests and the felt insides of the box are formed using up-cycled plastic bottles.

Thirdly, is their giving back programme – this upholds their Nordic and Danish values of health, education and environment and in doing so, establishes partnerships with charitable organisations around the world, which include:

Water for Good: when you purchase a watch, you will give two months of clean water to one person in the The Central African Republic.

Pratham UK: when you buy a watch, you will give one month of education to a child in India.

Cool Earth: when you purchase a watch, you will preserve 200 square foot of rain forest in Latin America.

Once you have purchased your watch, you are able to choose one of these causes to help make a difference.

Lastly, is responsible manufacturing – by partnering with Danish partners abroad, they ensure that their overseas production facilities adhere to the highest standard whilst also following Danish labour practices.

Overall, I’m very pleased with my Nordgreen watch and it’s refreshing to find an ethical brand that you can trust and who also sell high quality products too. I will definitely recommend them to family and friends.

Don’t forget if you want to order one for yourself, you can receive 15% off with code ‘ANDME’.
