If you hadn’t already guessed, I love celebrating seasonal holidays with my girls. As Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, I thought I would show you a super easy Valentine’s treat, which can easily be made at home with your children!
What You Need:
- Kellogg’s Squares bars
- Icing sugar
- Pink food colouring (I used this one*)
- Sprinkles (similar to these ones*)
- Paper straws (similar to these ones*)
Method:
- Firstly, you need to carefully insert your paper straws into the middle of each of your Squares bars.
- Make the icing sugar as directed. I made two white krispie pops and two pink. I did the white ones first, then added the pink colouring to do the others. However you can make them all the same colour if you wish.
- Spoon the icing sugar over the top of the bar and spread it around. (I found this easier than dipping them into the bowl of icing sugar.)
- Place them on a plate and add your sprinkles.
- Pop them in the fridge to set!
That’s it! It’s a super easy (and tasty!) treat to enjoy over Valentine’s Day and an easy activity to do with your children too.
Don’t forget to pin it for later!
