You may have seen the original nursery tour, which I shared a few months back. So I thought I would give you a little update on how it currently looks, now that we’ve added a few finishing touches.
As I mentioned in the nursery tour post, Toby cut and made the cloud shelf himself, however I’m sure you can find similar ones on Etsy or elsewhere online. And as always, I will link everything mentioned at the end of the post.
We had decided on Amelia’s name quite early on, so I couldn’t resist ordering her these beautiful name blocks. I think they look lovely on the shelf too.
I ordered this initial letter from Amazon, sanded it down and painted it myself using a Laura Ashley tester paint pot. It was much cheaper painting it myself and I’m really pleased with it. We also purchased the collection of Peter Rabbit books for Christmas, which were a complete steal on Amazon and I can’t wait to read them to the girls over the coming months and years.
Finally, I ordered this birth print to match Sophie’s which you can see in her bedroom tours here and here. I absolutely love it and I think it goes well in her white, grey and pink nursery.
