To be honest, January has been a bit of a strange month for me. Once Christmas had been and gone, I didn’t really know what to do with myself. I think I’m still suffering with the January blues and this horrible weather certainly hasn’t helped lift my mood. But, at the end of every month, I like to do a roundup of my favourite photos which I’ve shared over on Instagram. So here they are..
1. I changed Sophie’s bedroom around as she kept climbing onto her windowsill (as her bed was below the window). I might do a separate post on what it looks like now if you’d like to see it.
2. I made my first order from This Modern Life earlier this month and I’m so pleased I did! They have some lovely items and I would definitely recommend them.
3. I took this photo of Sophie, as she said her little penguin had “hurt his head” and was “kissing it better”. So cute!
4. I was doing my weekly shop at Asda and came across this stripy grey and white duvet set in the sale for £10 and I couldn’t leave it behind.
5. Sophie is looking more and more grown up lately and I love her outfit in this photo too.
6. I organised my work space a bit better too, although I will need to do it again as it’s currently piled high with washing (I swear it’s never ending!)
7. Earlier this week, I decided we would make crispy cakes. Sophie loved helping me mix it together and sampled the mini eggs too haha.
8. I’ve wanted this Lost My Name book for a while now, so I just decided to order it. It’s personalised with Sophie’s name inside and I’m sure she will love reading it together.
9. We went to the Trafford Centre this weekend and of course I went to Next & River Island and found some lovely bits! There will be a haul post up sometime next week.
