With less than a week until Valentine’s Day, I thought I would share the Valentine’s themed
books on Sophie’s bookshelf this year. I like to switch around the books on her bookshelf for each season or holiday and it means we also have new books to read. I love this tradition and plan on doing it every year, especially now that Sophie is a bit older, as she has really taken an interest in books and will often ask to go upstairs and read books together.
The books above are:
Guess How Much I Love You
Good Night, Little Love

What an enchanting idea, my children do love books and being read too, not so keen to read themselves though.
I love this idea and wish we had little shelves, but our bookshelves are growning under the weight of so many books, I guess that comes with having 4 children.
Guess how much I love you, was one of my oldest son's favourite books when he was small.
I love the idea of moving the books about. That is because we have far too many books but just read the same ones over and over.
I love the idea of changing the books around to whatever time of the year it is. I did this with Emily's books at christmas. She doesn't actually have any valentines ones so I'm off to search amazon now. Thanks for the ideas! x
I love your little shelves and this is a really nice tradition. I love reading with all of my kids and it is great to switch out their books so that we get to read a good variety.
I love the idea of changing up their reading books for the season or occasions, I must start doing this we just end up reading like the same 3 all the time! xx
I love the idea of a book shelf, I love that they are out for them to see easily and a theme for them too. Guess how much I love you book is one of my favorite!
I agree with Everything Mummy- it's actually a really nice idea to get kids into reading by incorporating the relevant season into their literature 🙂 x
I like the idea of reading these books around Valentines Day. I used to read the boys "I Will Always Love You" when they were little x
I love book roating, just wish my Penelope would pay attention when I read! She just looses her attention in seconds! Even with a board book x
Can't wait to get my son's book shelves up so we can do this next year! I love "guess how much I love you" it'll always be my favourite children's book.
