Can you believe it’s just over three weeks until the beginning of December? That means it’s almost time to bring out the advent calendars and I am so excited, as that means the countdown to Christmas is officially on! Each year I get a chocolate advent calendar for Sophie (and one for myself and Toby of course!). Although I love the idea of toy advent calendars, so I’ve rounded up some of my favourites!
I think toy advent calendars are such a great alternative to chocolate and there are so many to choose from, you are sure to find something that your kids will love! Sophie’s a big fan of Happyland, so I’m sure she would love the advent calendar from the Early Learning Centre.

I haven't had an advent calendar since I as a kid! I think I will get one this year for my daughter (she'll be 2 in the spring!) Thanks for the reminder, and the great ideas for which one to choose! xx
love the playmobil one – we have a distinct lack of Christmassy toys so it would double up as that too x
My son already has his eye on the lego advent calendar! Looks like it's going to be a fun one in our house, i just need to get me a chocolate one 😉

I really, really want to get the Happyland advent calendar for Lily but it's out of stock! Hope it comes back in soon, I agree it's nice to have an alternative to chocolate although Lily will probably have both! X X
