We celebrated Amelia’s first birthday last weekend and we also threw her a little party where we invited our close family and friends. As you probably guessed from the title of this post, it was a swan theme and I’m really pleased with how it turned out!
Here’s a close-up of the cake, which was a Victoria sponge topped with a swan and lots of glitter! It was made by one of our local cake shops and it was just how I imagined it.
I ordered most of the decorative pieces on Amazon and eBay, which I’ve linked at the end of this post too if you’re wondering where things are from; it’s mainly a pink/gold/white and swan theme.
As for the food, we kept it simple with: sandwiches (ham & jam), party rings, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, carrot & cucumber sticks, crisps, mini breadsticks, ritz biscuits and party rings.
