This is the first year we have decided to do an activity advent calendar, as I thought it would make Christmas this year a bit more fun and special for the girls (which is definitely needed after this year!). So I thought I would write a blog post about it and share the activities we have planned in the run up to Christmas.
I’ll start off by saying I ordered this star advent calendar from Scandiborn a few weeks ago now, which is made by the brand Ferm Living and it really is beautiful. I can’t wait to use it every year now.
As you can see, it’s currently hanging up in the girls’ playroom and they absolutely love doing a new activity each day. Although a lot of the activities are ones we would have done anyway, I thought putting them in an advent with some new activities would keep them occupied over the next few weeks!
So here is the list of activities we have planned this month…

Just a little side note, the activities are in no particular order, as we tend to do the easier ones after my eldest has finished school and save the others for the weekend when we have a bit more time.
